FREEDOM
BY : ELISABETH BABARCI

“When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind.” — African Proverb
When we trust Universal direction, it enables us to understand true freedom. The Universe is within us, as we are within it. When we have perfect trust, we embrace love, and as a result our heart opens, as we are not regulated by fear.
At times we meet individuals that profoundly change our life, our perceptions, and outlook. Often, they mirror our souls in insurmountable ways. The ones that challenge us, see deep within our soul all of our tapestries that we are comprised of. They accept us without question or circumstance and they are fiercely loyal at our time of need.
If we do not challenge ourselves to go out of our normal routine, we would never meet these individuals. Taking a profound leap of faith, and having the ability to trust our own wings, opens us to an abundance of opportunities.
Look for those who have deep patience, unwillingness to give up, a deep unquestionable focus and determination to see things through, and an inner fearlessness that is ready to face any situation in a time of challenge.
Should that alliance, friendship, unity, love, look different due to life’s challenges or path, we must always understand that time or space is an imaginary concept, and the heart connection is strong, no matter if their physical presence is not near.
One of the deepest regrets that we have as human beings is the regret of time lost, time wasted, time not valued — however, it is an opportunity for us to recognize the importance of presence.
Our deepest connections come from those that challenge us, as they force us to evolve, change our directions or stubborn patterns. These individuals make us see that life is not linear and finite.
When you have the privilege of the gift of having an individual that is loyal and heart centred, always appreciate them for their time, as they unlock your inner spirit that makes you a force of light.
No matter what challenges you might face, always know that a true connection (as it comes in many forms), can not be taken away, when it is meant to be.
The Universe aligns us and presents us with gifts, and depending on our path, we will align with those who we are meant to.
Circumstances beyond our control can never unravel what is meant to be however, human perception is to always hold and control, when the Universe teaches us to accept and flow with divine ease.
Control is not love, that is the ego, that is inner fear of scarcity mindset. Love is liberation, freedom, acceptance, the awakening to know that the individuals that surround you, trust in your wings ability to fly, rather than to remain on the branch at all times.
Love allows us to learn patience, understanding, forgiveness, courage, and most importantly freedom.
I once read a story about a cat. The cat was confined to the house at all times, while it observed through the glass door at the nature and wonders in its backyard, yearning to explore and experience life. The owners did not mean to confine the cat however, out of fear that something may happen to it, they restricted its movement, its freedom, and suffocated its inner spirit till it lost all joy. This represents the dangers of control and fear, as it deteriorates relationships and disables freedom.
The two dangers are control and fear and both intersect in co-dependent ways, for without fear what is the need for control and without control of circumstances how to subdue fear?
Life happens in incremental steps however, change feels sudden.
Change liberates us, it forces us to look within to see what makes us uncomfortable, and allows us the opportunity to seek new methods and routines.
It is without question, that all of our lives are interwoven tapestries, where we learn powerful lessons from one another, to allow us to observe the world in profound ways.
When love enters our lives, we are enabled to see life beyond ourselves, and we learn true companionship and solidarity.
Love is not forced, controlled, measured, as the heart feels what the mind cannot comprehend.
Consider the concept of four dragons, one that soars magnificently in the air representing the air signs (ruling the mind), one that is on the ground representing the earth signs (grounded or rooted or centred) , one that represents fire — fire signs (passion) and one that represents water signs (emotion). All dragons possess magnificent skills and gifts and when they form a union with another they bring equilibrium and balance. For example the dragon that takes flight creating unity with the water dragon would create a balance of the heart with the mind. Oftentimes, people would suggest that unions of similar traits make the best couples however, the ones that are polar opposite and challenge one another create the greatest unions and strength.
In life, be open to new possibilities and experiences, release past emotions or regrets, for every experience creates new endless opportunity for forgiveness, peace, awakening, and evolution.
The more we embrace change, learn that disruption does not always lead to chaos, we learn that control is an illusion and is based in fear. Once you become fearless, you accept universal equilibrium. Without cause and effect, we would not have transformation. Always see that your metamorphosis is a catalyst for ascension. The more you open your heart, the more equilibrium and balance you will receive.
