REVIVAL

I want to share this special gift of a thought experiment I engage in when I experience primal fear, loss, grief, or navigating the waves of unexpected emotions.
Trees represent divine sacred gifts, that are symbolic, and represent the celebration of life and creation. It represents balance, harmony, and rebirth. Although cyclical in nature, just like human existence, they withstand the test of time or catastrophic experiences such as what the Japanese traditional culture defines as Hibakujumoku the “Survivor tree.” Within Chinese traditional culture, there is a saying that “The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all,” referring to the magnificence of the beauty of the Cherry Blossom but stands to educate the fleeting cyclical nature of life and that change is essential and inevitable for our renewal, transcendence, transience, evolution and existence. When we overcome challenges through perseverance and defy adversity, we bloom with elegance, as the flower represents a phoenix warrior mindset to never surrender despite the odds, to bloom out of turbulence, and to remain delicate amidst chaos that may encompass us in our surroundings. The tree stands as not only a metaphysical teacher of life, but also brings together community through different species as it fosters basic survival needs. We must always persevere and remain resilient by overcoming difficult situations to achieve unprecedented results and wisdom.
The Tree of Life represents harmony and balance in nature. Life is delicate and change is an inevitable process for our growth, expansion, and wisdom. Spiritually its magnificent branches expand to the universe while its roots remain grounded within Gaia’s core. When we encompass balance, and ground ourselves in the present gift of the now, we then become interconnected with all there is. We are all sacred beings with a myriad of tapestries of experiences, wisdom, and vital crucial lessons.
For one moment, I would like you to visualize a tree. When the tree is divided in half, we then are exposed to its many intricate delicate rings that resemble a human fingerprint which encompasses sacred geometric shapes of circles all within one another — it is told that it reveals the age of a tree or signifies the lifelines. Always remember, trees represent prosperity and abundance, which educates us that within every changing season, we must release, let go, and shed experiences to receive the abundance of the new . Strength, resilience, and courage is awakened when we recognize that there is power in not holding onto the past. If we remain within our past constructs, how will we evolve? When we embrace catharsis, metamorphosis and begin the rebirth process or awakening of the soul, that is true adaptability. We can not grow from constraint and comfort, like a tree we must embrace eternal wisdom and new beginnings. There is a statement that once the seed is planted it is not the time to reap the fruit, we learn that patience is essential in our developmental process.
Our metaphysical branches represent our connections, friendships, and family. A tree was planted with the intention to sprout and stand as a strong pillar or beacon of lifeforce. A trees cycle represents generations as it restarts, resets, and rebirths to provide new developments. It demonstrates understanding that patience, persistence, stillness and reflection, create strong foundations with care, just like what constitutes a strong family.
When I visualize the intricate circles it then reminds me that we are not alone, and nature too has etched a magnificent blueprint entrenched within those rings. I often wonder, which may be silly, do trees feel sadness or profound loss? We place high importance on their ability to shed the old but they are also lifeforce within, providing shelter, protection, and are deeply rooted. I often feel they have a sense of voyeurism paired with ingrained wisdom, where they patiently watch generations of human beings blossom and experience life cycles. How many times have we climbed their strong branches, swung on swings, or built treehouses where we developed and learned core life lessons with our deepest connections meaning our family and friends. Treehouses symbolize refuge, a time of innocence, where we felt a profound sense of freedom and liberty to enable our imagination to soar. Our connection to nature stems from our primitive need and desire for simplicity, to be mindful of our imprint, and to respect all that nature has to offer, in its sustainable existence. Even within wood, it has certain properties that teach us about life, to withstand challenges, to stand strong like the mighty oak, encourage stability and durability, to be of a sturdy nature, it is the embers of time which provided warmth, and constructed futures for generations through shelter as our ancestors settled. How many times did our parents read stories to us under a magnificent tree in a park or the comfort of our own backyard? We imprinted our names, felt its texture, as it heard our deepest secrets and life stories. In essence, the tree is one with our life, and grew in tandem with us. A question remains: Are our memories etched into their construct? Are there sacred wisdom within those rings or roots? It makes me recognize that the world is beyond my comprehension, forces me to ground myself in the present, and keeps me in the faculty of wonder, when I experience a moment of negative emotions or primal fear.
“When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind.” — African Proverb.Symbolically and metaphysically, trees represent the core of generational human connections, friendships, families, community, and unity. One powerful lesson that remains is that trees demonstrate and educate us that abundance surrounds us, and within our development to mirror their nature where they grow with no mind to conformity, as each is perfectly imperfect, and their uniqueness is their essence of life. We must all encompass the symbology of trees which represent hope, renewal, and revival. Our strength is our connection, to bridge the divine through our metaphysical branches with the earth through our root and earth star chakras. It is a profound reassurance to know that Gaia protects, and cradles us within her grace, grounding us with Universal knowledge of beyond. As above, so below.
