THE HEART OF A DOG

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.” — Unknown.
Within the international field of study of Veterinary Internal Medicine which specializes in Cardiology, there have been great transformations within the realm of science to promote reconditioned pacemakers, to aid canines who experience heart failure.
Through international awareness, donations, and funding, it has enabled the reduction in the cost of cardiac care, for our beloved pets. Artificial cardiac pacemakers, are an integral component, to save the lives of humans and their animal companions, in an effort to not only reduce heart failure, but to encourage life expectancy.
In recent news, it has been discovered that pacemakers can be donated to a canine patient after a patients death, or when a patient receives an upgrade. Donations can be made to several University institutions that specialize within this field of research and development, which promote continued education and training.
Our fur babies are an integral part of our family and community, as they represent unconditional love, guidance, patience, loyalty, faithfulness, dedication, duty, and protection. Promoting life saving alternatives with compassionate care, ensures that your beloved pet or canine in need, will live a long and healthy life.
As a community, when we foster education, engagement, and awareness, in a significant positive way, it addresses techniques of how we can become more sustainable in our daily approach to medical devices. We all play a significant role in the recycling process of medical technologies.
Through advocacy and education, we discover and enhance new approaches towards the health and welfare of both animals and their human counterparts, through the promotion of scientific advancements. When we place our primary focus on wellness, education, preventative medicine, we then as a global community unite for a common cause, to help those in need. The gift of life is the most precious sacred act of empathy, love, and compassion.
Early detection, prevention, and continued research saves and transforms the lives of others. Animals feel pain in the same way that humans do, and cannot speak for themselves. During their critical moments of need, all sentient life deserves a second chance at life. Every human being is a catalyst for profound change, through peaceful and powerful actions, when they promote and support animal welfare, critical research, rehabilitation efforts, and animal rescue.
